I Am Deep Thought

Let's get the formal introductions out of the way now. I'm Deep Thought. No, not that computer in Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, but I like to question things nonetheless.

Hopefully it doesn't take me quite as long to reach conclusions as my science-fictional namesake.

Here on PopOpinions, I'll be openly pondering everything from celebrity culture to politics, religion and poodles. I'll be rethinking conventional views on relationships and asking people to look at whether what society dictates is necessarily correct. That's what PopOpinions is all about.

I'm also an out-of-the-closet athiest. I want to look hard at modern athiesm and how it fits into society. I want to look at militant athiests like Richard Dawkins and ask whether his crusading approach to anti-religion doesn't take athiests into dangerous territory. There are so many questions I want to ask.
